Early Stage Investor at Seedcamp
As a portfolio analyst at Seedcamp, Europe’s leading pre-seed and seed stage Acceleration Fund, Sia has the overview of a portfolio of 160+ companies. He takes part to the investment process (deal sourcing and due diligence) and helps portfolio companies to tackle their diverse business challenges, from recruiting to fundraising.
He is also responsible for keeping the Seedcamp team informed of internet market trends and M&A activity in the sector. Siagained experience crunching numbers and analysing data in large financial services companies such as EY and UBS but he quickly realized that he wanted to directly blend his interest in finance and his passion for internet startups in his professional life.
He loves spending time with startups and understanding their challenges but he is also very interested in applying a more data-driven approach to early stage investments. Sia grew up in Switzerland and pursued his university studies in Spain and the UK. He holds a MSc in International Management from ESADE Business School, focusing on finance and entrepreneurship.
