PharmAssistant
Diogo studied Business in the University of London, and worked for Vodafone and the Portuguese airline TAP Portugal. Always looking for problems to solve, and making use of one of his hobbies – coding – he decided to create a solution for poor medication adherence and medication errors, following a stressful episode in his close family. With this idea, he won a “hackathon” competition in Lisbon, and decided to use the cash prize to further develop the product. In April 2014 he gathered a team and incorporated PharmAssistant, and they were selected for the Bayer’s Grants4Apps initiative a few months after.
